You as an internet user should know what "Viral Videos" mean. They are viral and people are only interested as long as something better comes up.

I didn't say your opinions were stupid, I said your post was stupid.. The way you word your opinions doesn't really do you any favours.
Take Sam for example, who has similar views to you on this matter, yet he made a perfectly understandable and respectful post in order to get his opinion across, whereas you seemingly rubbished anybody that supported this campaign, as if you're opinion is the only one that matters, and as if you're above everybody else.

Why not care about animals being slaughtered by butchers or just sick people.
Most people on the planet mostly care about themselves and their close ones, not some random kinds in Africa.

Honestly how I see it is that it's not our problem. From a United States perspective we're in major debt and have crime problems of our own. My guess is that Kony is also supplied arms from Russia so if we get involved (militarily speaking) they will become angry because they are loosing money. Also, the organization Invisible Children which is saying they are helping only donates something around 30% to the children in Africa, that is approaching fraud. It's been going on for years, and I see no reason why it should come up now. There are many other dictators in third world countries doing just as bad of things, but a whole bunch of teenagers feel that sharing the story on Facebook will be them doing "their part".
