Even if he's horrible at it, spending more time with it won't guarantee that it will make it better? What if that's the best he can do, or if you're a beginner? Maybe you're not advanced at all?

And "CS5" - He may even use GIMP instead of Photoshop?

I like your idea with the second one, but it seems out of place, and I don't understand the random blue blob at the end of it.
