I've always been interested in the stock-market. And the current financial crisis only made my interest grow. I (make an effort) to read through the FINANCIAL parts of the Sunday newspapers (every week) and would read in interest what had happened in the previous week.

And so here I'd like to recommend a site if you'd like to learn more about being responsible with your money.

Once you pick a portfolio it cannot be changed for the duration of the contest

Once the contest begins you will be receiving emails on your portfolio ranking and security selections. And see here http://www.monetta.com/leader.htm I came 40th Google didn't perform as well as I would've liked, Goldman Sachs Group started off really well but then fell off a bit. I put in 5% into Microsoft but if I remember right, they didn't do too well (a few days it was the worst performing stock).
