Took the background (was a stock) editted the colors a bit, and added the surfer + blended him.

Yea, he's too big....look at him in proportion to the rock on the right.
I also think it would look better with only the planet on the right.

There is, but it isn't visable decently. Though, this is my first try at Photo manipulation.

If I'm honest I think you should choose a different stock to work on top of. When you see a photo of a surfer, they are generally on bright sunny days with bright blue skys and (Stating the obvious), big waves... This photo lacks all of those things. The colours are dull, the sky looks pretty grey, and even the grass looks a muddy green. Which is all very strange as the surfer looks extremely bright. So yeh, my advice is, get a whole new stock.
