"Lifetime" does not mean "3 years". It means "until you die". Please edit your thread so it doesn't say "lifetime" anywhere, 'cause to offer hosting until one dies is impractical.

Yeah, Elektrisk is right. If you guarantee in writing that you offer lifetime hosting, you have to stick up to it. Which is about impossible.

PM me if you bought this. PM me again when I'm a grandfather and let me know if its still up.

If it's in his terms of service properly, lifetime can mean 2 minutes. And you cannot enforce his sales that way. He doesn't have to edit it...

Yes, you have a right to say that, but it's not fair if you make him.

If it only lasts for 3 years, then he can simply say "Hosting for 3 years!", but calling it "lifetime" hosting then specifying that it only lasts for 3 years is contradictory. You cannot simply change the meaning of a word. The only reason to do that would be to deceive the buyers into thinking they were getting true lifetime hosting (hosting that lasts for the entire span of one's time alive). As Omni has stated, "there are no gray areas on SF". I am wary of Omni even allowing the selling of hosting here because of the amount of scamming that goes on.

What also seems odd is he says "totally limited 1 year hosting!" but he states that lifetime = 3 years. So, which is it?

I agree, but let him run his business into the ground.

Maybe he means the lifetime of a goldfish.
