Alternatives to iTunes? - Elektrisk - 01-14-2010

Hello.
I have an iPod nano (8g) and I hate iTunes.
I've read that WinAmp isn't compatible with the newer generation iPods. Are there any programs that I can use to add music to my iPod? I don't care about videos/photos/podcasts; just music.

Can't you just plug it in like you do normal mp3 players?

Codine - No.

Agent - I looked at most of those. Only two left to check out; the rest were incompatible with my iPod's generation.

Codine - EphPod says "EphPod really isn't the best choice for your latest-and-greatest devices (defined here as any Apple iPod/iPhone released after 2006)." My iPod is only one or two years old, so that won't work. I'll check out CopyTrans, though.

OK, I found a great alternative; MediaMonkey. It supports new gen iPods and proabbly the iPhone too.
Enjoy & thanks all.
