Advise: I bought this CPU Cooler - 4u111 - 01-11-2010
Hello SF members,
I bought this cpu cooler yesterday " Thermaltake CFAN-CLP0086", it's big but fit in the case, i feel like i rushed when i bought it. I just would like to know your opinions about this cooler.

Actually, i paid $40 for it, so im thinking the price worth it or maybe not!. Or i could have found better cooling devices with this price. I was going to buy one for Zalman ($40) but i decided to go for Thermaltake because it was on special.

i have got the Scythe Mugen 2 Cooler im running at 38c on a e8400@4.0ghz its a good cooler for the price it looks kinda dumb with a block of metal for a cpu cooler but i like it lol http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835185093&Tpk=Scythe%20Mugen%202%20Cooler check it out if you dont get the temps you want out of yours

You don't know anything about anything Michael get of the forums forever XD jk jk. But your cooler is like massivly bestly i don't think it'll even fit in my micro atx case

It took me some time to fit the new one into the case. It's now performing good and the temp is around 22 ~ 27 on E7400 (2.8ghz). I hope the temperature will stay constant when overclocking to 3.2ghz.

man use orthos or prime 95 for check if you did an OK overclock. I have a E8500 at 3.9Ghz with a sun beam tech cooler. You shouldn't arrive to 80ºC. I don't pass 56 on zero core and 51 on the first. Then you shouldn't try to use it with a multiplayer higher than x9,5. If you don't do any stress test FFT you won't know never if it's stable.
First learn then read again and be sure what are you doing...
