To Omni - St0rmW1nd - 10-05-2009

When will you be choosing a moderator and what do you look for in a moderator?

RE: To Omni - Skill - 10-05-2009

He doesn't give a designated time and date for when he is choosing a moderator, he will just choose one, or two, or three.

Just browse the site like normal, report posts when needed and of course, write out your application if you haven't done so already.

Well I guess luck is all I need ;) Always wanted to be a mod on one of Omni's websites.

You'll need slightly more than that, trust me.

Explain more?

What does luck have to do with being a moderator on a serious forum? You need persistence, work, some more work and loyalty. If I forgot something, sorry...also if I made something up, sorry again.

It's cool to be a mod, but it's also a great responsibility...not to mention it gets tiring and boring later.

RE: To Omni - Gone - 10-05-2009

You need more then just wanting to be a mod on his site. You need to be a respected user.

What SoF has said is so true, at first you may like the fact that you are moderating and people may look up to you but after time, the work load will grow and grow and eventually, it will just become too much.

Omniscient has to choose staff carefully, he doesn't want members who will slack off and do a bit here and there.

I'm willing to take that risk, I am sure I am very valuable to the community... right Right RIGHT????
