Some Poetry, by Kurtz. - Kurtz - 05-03-2012 Hope you take pleasure in reading. -------------- Ignorance is truly bliss, To those who cannot see. But to those blind souls I feel naught but sympathy. -------------- The guilt of a nation falls upon the unsympathetic ears of its oppressors. As we stand idly by our morals degrade-- rought with indecency and invalidations. Losing touch with the world, one by one we fall into darkness. Our regrets are eternally engraved deep within the darkeness of our minds, Forever pounding on the doors of our sanctuary. And as we stood idly by, we watched our cities burn. Red with the fires of our past. Not one hand is left clean. For we are the ones to blame. We stood in the light of darkness and simply looked away. -------------- |
