What size are you after? Generally with tablets, you get what you pay for, so if you're wanting something good quality, then you're going to have to pay a high price.

The one I have has a with of 5 inches. I want to get one with 8 to 9 inches.

Ideally you want to get a tablet which is the same size as your monitor.
I think your best bet would be to have a look on Ebay for some bargains. I think you could probably get an 8/9 inch tablet for around £50 ($80).

I was able to get an Intuos3 6x8 on Craigslist for 100$. A good bargain as it usually goes for 200$+ used. If you live in a well populated area definitely give Craigslist a try.
