My Anti Virus Combinations!! - GLO13AL_T3RROR - 10-21-2009 I was wondering if you think if its a good idea to use the following combinations of anti-virus, though i am using it right now. -Norton 360 -Windows Defender -Malwarebytes Anti Malware -Security 360 Pro -Windows patrol RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - cday - 10-21-2009 Generally combining av is a bad idea. It causes all sorts of software conflicts and can slow your system to a crawl. Pick an av, any av, and stick with it. RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - cday - 10-21-2009 Well, I would recommend Kaspersky. Here's a link: http://www.kaspersky.com RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - Reece - 10-21-2009 As long as all aren't started at once, and aren't used at once (unless they are compatible) I don't really see a problem. I would recommend Avast Pro though. RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - Kharnage - 10-21-2009 I'm using Microsoft Security Essentials RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - MOOSA - 10-21-2009 www.kaspersky.com - KIS 2010 and www.eset.com - eset smart security 4 - 90% safe RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - ElephantShoe - 10-21-2009 Definitely Kaspersky for your first choice, if not, try ESET Nod32. Keep Malware Bytes, great program. RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - tusku - 10-21-2009 Use one at a time with Microsoft Security Essentials. RE: My Anti Virus Combinations!! - Acekidd01 - 10-21-2009 If you want to use a combinations of antivirus, I would suggest if you want to use two antivirus to only leave one with Real-time protection, and the other one just use it for scan. The best combination will be: Antivirus+Anti-Malware+Anti-Spyware+Anti-adware= to better protection. |
