Interesting..... - 0xE9 - 06-01-2011

Well I just tried to make a post in a thread with this text.

I got this:

I thought it was an error of some sort so I posted "test test" but that worked fine. So I edited post to "lololololol" That worked. Then I edited my post back to that first code and got the same display. I think my code could be interfering with one of the mybb plugin or triggering a security plugin causing an error to be thrown. I've tested in multiple threads and am 100% sure its something in the code not just a random 1 off error.

Just tried with that code and you're right. I know nothing about what your code does, but it seems very strange.

First bit is a function for preventing SQL injection second is a mysql query with an example of how to prevent query extension.

Did you put the PHP in the PHP code tags?
It seems like a security feature blocking it.

That's what I was thinking but yeah It doesn't work in php, code or quote tags.

That looks like a Cloudflare code or from the server. It's not important.
