I hate how HF is interfering with the SF population / community.
I actually like less people because you know each other and the attitude is lighter and it is an all around better atmosphere.

You're not going to get rid of this thread no matter what you do. Or the HF people making up part of the SF community. If it bothers you that much, just delete it from your thread subscriptions.

I find that selfish actually. Everyone should have knowledge, everyone should be able to do what they want and be equal. Both HF and SF have a vase base of knowledge. HF is about hacking but it could be used to keep your computer safe, while SF is well about support.

The amount of people as well shouldn't affect the overall atmosphere of the community on SF either. It all depends on the type of people, not the amount of people. You could be locked in a room with one person, but that person could be a friend or an enemy of yours. That won't mean that less people means you have a better atmosphere though.

I originally heard about this site from HF, but I have abandoned all hope, and faith in that website. The people can be described as ignorant (the kindest possible word) and selfish, but this site is full of kind, helpful people who unlike many take the time to read the OP before responding.

I came from HF too. When SF first surfaced, the majority of it's members originated from HF.
