What do the stars under your name represent? At what point do you gain another star?

I am guessing the more posts you get the more stars you will have, depending also on your usergroup, you have a certain amount of stars. Just my guess. ;)

That's what I thought but Sam has more than 2K posts, but still has the same number of stars as me.

I think it's for the number of posts you have. I doubt there's anything above 200 posts, star wise.

5 is the most stars normal members can get.
6 for being a moderator.
7 for admin.

You should be able to earn more stars accoriding to your post count. This might encourage users to be more active on SF.
