Okay, I've only read the OP, so if any of this was already stated, my bad.

So, for one, why don't you have a a chance? The only way that'd be the truth is
if they're completely shallow, and would dump you for someone that had better skills
in things that don't even matter/they find sexually appealing. (Like sports etc.)

In that case, you don't need a girl like that. Quite honestly, I say this a lot,
the best advice I can give in being an impressive person, is find something you're VERY good at,
and flaunt that crap. For instance, video games. Even if they're not *particularly* interested in them
women like to hear men talk about themselves/their interests. Also, if you know your stuff, you look even better.
