To me, personally even though it looks nice. It to me is a waste of RAM and CPU power. Keep your system clean and lean.

Yeah, but the Google Desktop is very handy and since I have 4GB of ram on Windows XP it doesn't really matter much since XP barely uses any RAM.

XP doesn't see 4 gigs, unless you have 64 bit.

Thought i would add mine. I have 2 computers i use all the time.
First is my linux box. Also my server.
Quite plain and boring but it serves its purpose.
