I'm not sure how to describe it. But, what I'm looking for is the equivalent in Firefox to "Ctrl+O" in IE, and "Ctrl+Shift+L" in Netscape. They open an address bar for entering a new address.

Hey!

Try CTRL+L . . It selects the location bar so you can type your address. ;)

I don't believe there is a shortcut to make a popup box for the location bar, as IE does it.

You can also find more shortcut keys, by hitting F1 and selecting "Keyboard Shortcuts" on the left hand side menu.
