Full Version: Ctrl T = Tabs ... but?

Hi

When I used to make the shortcut for a new tab (Ctrl + T), Firefox

opened a new tab and made the marker to go in adress bar. I mean, when I opened a tab, I

shouldn't point my mouse over the adress bar and then type in a homepage.

Now - I

don't know why (maybe a bug?) - Firefox does not automatic point the marker in adress bar ...

and I haven't changed anything :\'(

Please - how do I make it back? It will spare me a

lot of time Big Grin

(Sorry for my bad English)
Are you using Firefox 1.5.0.6 or Firefox 2 ?

Cause I'm not

using FF2 yet, so ...
The newest one ... exept the beta for FF2.

I am using 1.5.0.6 Smile
Okey Dokey!

Do you have the extension called

Tab Mix Plus ?

* FirefoxWiz is trying to

remember how she fixed this before...

Go to your Tab Mix Plus

options, and go to Events > Tab Focus >:
Check the following items:
1. new tab

commands

New Tab commands means when you do your CTRL+T it'll focus on the

new tab and put the blinky thing in the address bar, so you can type Smile

I know how to do

this cause I had to do it before too!!!!

Hope it helps!
Thanks, I'm gonna try that! Big Grin
