It really does look fine and im not sure what it is but I feel like some minor changes should be made.
I like it alot, i designed a similar one the other day, green and black, very good color combo.
I guess it could have a few changes but overall it's great.
I think it's ok but maybe the green could be darkened?

I agree with this as well. Or at least bolded.
Green doesn't blend well i don't know why, it just doesn't feel fitting.
The green is too khaki-ish maybe?
Everything else looks hip and awesome.
The reason he kept it a little dull is so the people have more freedom with avatars and signatures.
