Give it some time I guess, And Imo you should never date someone you have known for more than a year its makes it to awkward to be friends with them after breakup.

But it never was a relationship that two friends have. We could just never see each other.

Oh my mistake, I have a lot of relationships like this as well. Everybody is busy I find now a days.
