I would definitely recommend that you get a PS3. They have better graphics than Xbox 360s do. Also, the PS3 isn't as expensive as it used to be.

Well I have both and from my experience the PS3 is worth the money even though I barely use it for games. I use it sheerly for Blu-Ray because when it comes to online play I would have to say that Xbox Live kills PS3 Online.
Id would go for PS3 also because net play is free and games released on are sick as Well ;)
I had a PS3 for about 4 months. After 4 months I bought an Xbox 360, and ever since then I haven't even turned on my PS3. It's been 2 and a half years.
I prefer Xbox Live over PSN, that's why I went with a 360. You should definitely consider online networks.
Honestly i don't think you should unless you have the money just lieing around. Otherwise don't.
Just wait for the xbox E3, will be worth it for sure.
