I tend to set my playlist to random and listen to whatever songs are chosen. I don't really game that much these days but when I do, I love to sit back and relax with a good ol' game of GTA 4. GTA 4 doesn't really need sound when you're playing online so it's not a problem but when I do missions I have to turn my playlist off.

I listen to the sound of the game, because I can't hear anything else with my TB X31's on.
Anyways, I would find it pointless to listen to music while playing a video game.

At times, I just have the game sounds on, but when I'm just relaxing and playing around, I'll listen to some Hardcore / Screamo / Metal. It's pretty much all I listen to.
When I play it has to be either jay-z or nas. I find it is easier to play to rap instead of rock
