While searching for free domain resources, I found two sites that may be of interest. Post-2-Host services provide free webhosting plans in exchange for an agreed number of posts. The benefits of P2H is the forum support provided by the hosting company as well as fellow webmasters.

SiteFrost
Recently opened free MyBB forum hosting as a separate project, ForumFrost. Has been recommended among members of Digital Point. Active community forum and worth a review.

HostWoot
Recently migrated to a new server. A fairly young host with good feedback from its members. It is currently in transition so it would be prudent to bookmark it until plans become clear.

Postbomb
Recently established host which is awarding a free .com/.org/.net domain to the first member who makes 80 quality posts. The service has made a good impression on Support, a member here on SF.

Disclaimer: I am not associated with any hosting company so my views are based only on extensive reading.
I love how HostWoot stole Dreamhosts's slogan.

I looked up http://www.dreamhost.com/ to check your claim. Unless you have another link, I don't see the similarity.

It used to be there, but it seems it was removed when they redesigned their front page. It's still on their Twitter, though. See "Bio" - http://twitter.com/dreamhost

Just seems kinda cheap to rip another company's slogan, but if it brings in customers, so be it.
BTW; feel free to review http://postbomb.net/. I am not associated with the site, but they have a competition going around on the first user to gain 80 posts. He'll win a domain for a year. And their Post 2 Host packages are wonderful. You get unlimited bandwidth and hosting for 35 posts a month.

I see the similarity. DreamHost's slogan is "We Host Your Dreams" while HostWoot's is "Hosting Your Dreams."

The slogan is in no way related to HostWoot's name and I agree that it is unethical marketing on their part.

http://postbomb.net/ is an extremely new service. It is difficult to judge promised claims. At time of posting:

Members: Postbomb (6), HostWoot (1,320), SiteFrost (11,208)

Compare: Postbomb Order Form and SiteFrost Hosting Plans

All links for HostWoot simply redirect to their forums and most members are clueless about the owner's plans.
Oh, didn't notice the difference with the dream line there.

Postbomb is awesome because it's mine Big Grin
@timeandstill; Why don't you advertise this? You should really advertise the site. It has like no members >_>

Do you know of any places to advertise? I have threads on Digital Point, here, and HF.
I don't know, perhaps buying ADS? or http://paidtoreg.com
