Where does this name originate from? Does it mean anything?

Omniscient is a real word. You can use a dictionary. However I use it in the more philosophical way.

Didn't pay attention in Literature class?
Omniscent is also a kind of narrator in books which knows everything.

Its a person who knows all I guess.

Omniscient means who is present everywhere, i think some thing like this only.

Omnicient is a very smart person I gess.

I still pronounce it "om-knee-is-ent" to this day, even though I know better. "Om-ni-shent" or whatever sounds off :p

Never mind.

I pronounce om-ni-sient or smthing like that.
