I feel like watching a movie that has some creepy elements to it. I don't mean just "surprise" moments. I want to watch a movie with a backstory and plot twists that really keep me watching. Any suggestions?
The Uninvited.

The Last House On The Left. (2009 version)

My Bloody Valentine (3D)

I understand what you mean by 'creepy'. I haven't seen many movies like that, though. Most movies nowadays are just shock movies. I'll try to think of some more.
- One Missed Call
- The Ring
- Mirros
- The Unborn

Oh my list is endless.
Watch classics from the 60's,70's and 80's imho. Stuff like Rosemary's Baby, The Exorcist, and The Shining.

The Ring was great imho. One of the scariest films I have seen in 20 years. Also Vacancy really has a great horror date aspect if you can watch it on a date.
I can't watch the exorcist.

I get to the bit where she walks backwards down the stairs and I have to turn it off.
Uninvited is pretty good. Big Grin It's a great horror movie.
Shutter Island was great movie imo. Creepy with great ending Smile

I found the exorcist more funny than anything, it was more like a comedy.

Orphan
The Exorcism of Emily Rose
1408
Quarantine
Watch SAW or Bloody Marie, they both are nice.
