Oh my god, everyone around here knows it, and I think I am one of the most dedicated (ex-)players in my neighbourhood. I don't play anymore because it's getting extremely economical now (You can even buy items and points to unlock items ingame, you get points for buying membership etc.), but I used to be addicted to it for, like.. 6/7 years? I received that cape you unlock after your account being 5 years of age, and that was about a year ago.. Now I think of it, I helped a friend of mine create an account a while ago, he is as old as me and we included his age in the name, which is a 9. I'm 16 now, so I have at least been playing for 7 years, and even more because I had played for quite some time before already. Definitely my most played game, I can easily say I have hundreds if not thousands of hours spent into that game, also probably hundreds of euros.
It's been my life, it's been my addiction, it's also been my affection. I've loved and hated it since the beginning of playing, and even when I grew up and people started to see it as a kid's game I didn't stop and proudly kept playing and training.
That was deep... I have freakin loved the game, now I don't anymore and I'm sure I'm never gonna play again. Even though I've stiopped so many times and picked it up again after a while, this game has come to an end for me.

So you're one of those guys? "Graphics > gameplay?" That must suck, honestly. In my honest opinion, graphics do count but definitely don't define the addictiveness of a game.
This game used to take up most of my time when I was 9 to 10. I used to be a scamer though.

No, I have never played Runescape, but I have heard of it, and I attempted to register on the game a couple of years ago, but for some reason it wouldn't allow me to complete the registration process.
Very nice game indeed, Until RuneScape 3 was released.
i used to play it alot. my account was named slimestjim but when they changed over to the email system that account got deleted cause it didn't have an email hooked up. i was pretty high level in everything too :/
I've never played it before, but my friend plays it a lot. I might give it a try now that I have a PC capable of running games.
