I installed windows 7 then installed a dual boot of windows Xp

once i finshed with it i wanted to remove it so i formatted the drive which didn't actually get rid of the menu every time i start it up then i turned the partion windows xp was on and made it all 1 partion and that still didn't get rid of it... any1 no how to get rid of it?
Hello Marda.
I have experienced this problem in the past. In your computer's C:\ there is a file called boot.ini. WHat you need to do is open that file in a notepad and remove the option Windows XP.
You can also set the timeout while you are there, I'm sure.
