How does dual booting work? I'll be following this tutorial- http://lifehacker.com/5403100/dual+boot-...ct-harmony

Anyway, so when I turn my computer on after the dual boot will I have the option to pick Ubuntu or Windows? Or what. Also, is it possible to stop the dual boot and return just to Windows 7?
well a menu pops up and says Linux OS or Windows OS, which ever you have. what do you mean stop dual boot, you can just pick the windows 7 from dual boot.

Yeah, dual-booting is pretty much that you'll be able to choose your OS.

And I think he asked if it's possible to go back to only Windows if he doesn't want to dual boot 'anymore.
Yes, it is possible to go back and uninstall Linux without damaging Win, but you have to make sure you have Install disk.
When you boot your computer it says

Windows 7
Ubuntu

If you pick Win7 it runs from there

If you pick ubuntu it runs to GRUB loader and you pick 9.xx version to boot
