It's possible, but from what I've read it is literally so much work it's worth buy a new xbox. Something to do with flashing the "EPROM" or something, idk
This is why I didn't buy an xbox. So many people say that the RROD doesn't happen so much and that you don't get banned unless you mod it, but microsofts just trying to limit peoples creativity so I decided on buying a PS3, its working great so far after two years.
I highly doubt any method works. So I wouldn't trust them

The only way to unban an xbox is if its jtag.Then you have to buy a kevault.
The only way you can un-ban it is if you have a JTAG.
I heard that you can get it unbanned if you have a Jtagged Xbox and you change a $20 component. Sorry I don't have the full details but I'm sure a simple search on google will provide you with a suitable answer.
