Quote:Alright, I'm trying to convert a MyBB forum (a test one before I do the real one), to a new vBulletin forum.

I have set up, and installed both forums. I then uploaded, after editing the config Impex file, and I went to the vBulletin ACP. Then, Import>Import. Here, I get this error:

Connection to source server failed. Check username and password.

What is the problem? I can't seem to find it. The usernames are right. I added stuff to the Source remote MySQL, but I'm not sure if I added the right stuff.

Make sure ALL of the information is right. Server, username/pass, database name, etc.

Yeah, I figured this one out. Now, after I run all the tasks, and I go to "Database cleanup & restart", I get this error:

ImpEx Database errormysql error: Link-ID == false, connect failed

mysql error:
