I don't know why I dont see a lot of .info's...I have one and I personally like its ending.
Yeah it depends on the topic for the developed site. I use flvs.info for my forum about Florida Virtual School and I think it's perfect. Especially since the main site is flvs.net so it's a common abbreviation for it.
