Full Version: [ubu 9.10] I need to make a .iso into a live usb

well it sounds weird but the iso is an OS and i need to run it from the usb stick. i try with administration>startup disc creator but for some strange reason it would only let me mount the iso of ubuntu 9.10 and nothing else ... the koala is taking the piss ... again.. i cant download any software like unetbootin in the moment

I have not actually tested it however i do believe it to work.
I have tested it but not with 9.10, it works well.
Your trying to mount the image to the usb stick? Well you don't mount it you extact the iso onto the usb stick. Do you have access to a Windows computer because it would be a lot easier.
