I'd like some clever user title ranks for my software forum. It will be a discussion on software, from an end-user point of view. I want ranks for:

0 posts
100 posts
250 posts
500 posts
800 posts
1000 posts

Any ideas?
What about like;

Alpha
Minor
Major

etc.. I don't know how the Software System works.
do it in ranks like:

Recruit - 0 posts
Private - 1 post
Private 1st Class - 20 posts

Lol I see where your going with that. That's actually a pretty cool idea. I may switch over to that.

How does that even make sense for a software forum?
0 - Leecher
100 Newbie
250 Junior
500 Senior
800 Guru
1000 Pro
Alright what do you think of these ranks:

0 Pre-Alpha
100 Alpha
250 Beta
500 RC
800 Version 1.0
1000 Industry Standard
I would make one at 50, 100, 250, 500, 1000
If someone manages to get to 2500 a custom label would be in order.

Nah, 50 posts is nothing and a 500 post gap between the last two is too much. I'm not sure if I want to do custom titles. It will be a while before anyone gets to that point so I'll decide then.
Yeah, of course. Only for the people that have a ridiculous amount of posts!

Yeah I think that these ranks will be enough for now. When somebody hits 1000 I'll start working on more.
