I've located a couple of 1 word dictionary .com domains. The words are fairly uncommon but are science / medical / philosophy terms. It's hard to give a description because I don't want to give them away but does anyone have views on the values of fairly uncommon 1 word dictionary .com domains?

Really depends on the length and the actual word.

They're about 10 characters each. Terms you would know if you were in the field.

One thing you can do is use wordtracker, google trends, and other analytic tools to see if the term is searched at all. If not then it's worthless.

If you bought them you wouldn't be able to sell them to anyone really. About the only thing you'd be able to do is make an information site for whatever they are.

Yeah that's true. I don't have the money to risk in an investment like that.
