the problem is with the sound - the laptop has a ATI graphic card, which supports HDMI audio output. there is also the internal audio - after every restart one of them is visible and the other is not - when the internal audio is visible its ok - i got sound, but when there is only the ATI device - no sound, i guess it needs to connect some speakers to the hdmi but i don't have the money and time for them in the moment. I was told that this could be an IRQ problem and to enter the BIOS and change the numbers of calls ..or something... so the internal audio and the ATI are at different numbers.. the thing is i can't find such settings in my BIOS which is AMI BIOS 210.000
can any1 give me a hint how to fix my sound ? Im on ubuntu 9.10
