Im looking forward for an video editing software, whic can cut n paste the videos..n at the same time it should be capable of adding watermarks...
Would windows movie maker work? I think it can do all that jazz.
Sony vegas pro is a decent tool, but expensive ^__^
But windows movie maker, takes a huge time for processing
Sony vegas, Adobe after effects and premier (Adobe)
My favorite cheap video editor is Cyberlink PowerDirector. I think it's $70, and it isn't a Sony Vegas, but it gets the job done for videos that won't need all those effects. It's got a simple timeline editor (with optional storyboard editor) and has some cheap screen filters, but I think it has a great text editing system and very good PiP objects function (which you can use to add graphics, or in this case watermarks).

Open the spoiler to see a screenshot of the program, and an example I whipped up real quick of a watermark.

If you need something more fancy though, then shoot for the programs that Extasey mentioned.
how about Ulead VideoStudio 8 SE ??

It works great for me
Adobe AE CS4 is great for any kind of video editing
