Itunes is not transferring new songs to Nano. When I plug the cord into the computer from the ipod it makes that sound we all know but when syncing nothing is being transferred. Recently had to re-install itunes so I don't know if that's it. its reading "mark's ipod" but not transferring songs. I tried resetting ipod and that didn't help.

It may not be able to locate your mp3 files.

You should try resetting your iPod, and then trying to re-sync the songs.

It may be the plug and it's connection.
