In this tut, I'll show you how to view hidden files and folders in vista. This can be useful in finding viruses or temp or log files (such as the AppData folder).


1. Click the Start Menu

2. Control Panel

3. In the upper left hand corner, make sure "Classic View" is selected.

4. Click "Folder Options"

5. Select the "View" tab.

6. Click "View Hidden Files and Folders" and hit OK.

That's it. You can now view hidden files and folders, which will appear slightly faded compared to normal files.
