If the bills were passed in the United States it might cause other countries to look into passing a similar bill. I'm not sure about the corporations in the UK, but here in America they have a very strong hold on our government.
Excellent that this was not passed and thankyou for everyone who supported stopping this. Now all we have to do is stop ACTA Mad as they are alot worse than sopa & pipa.

ACTA needs much more recognition, reading into it is is potentially worse than SOPA but it doesn't seem to have the same opposition as SOPA.
It hasn't been denied. It's simply been 'shelved'
