Simple Text Reflection Tutorial

We'll be using Photoshop.

Step 1

Create a new canvas, approximately 400 by 200.

Step 2

Enter your text with any font you like, here's an example.

Step 3

Duplicate the text layer and place it under the first layer like this.

Step 4

Lower the opacity of the duplicate layer until you get something like this.

And there you go, just a simple tutorial.

For a decent tutorial i would like to see atleast the program you are using.
This gives the reader no bearing of where to start mate.

I edited the OP. I'm using Photoshop.
Sorry mate. Not picking on you just the readers need as much info as possible to allow them to replicate what you did.
Even simple steps like telling them "go to file then text layer or whatever it may be"
Treat the audience as idiots... Not that i think any of SF is AT ALL!!!!
But to the non logged in user who is doing a google search for such a tutorial will prob need every bit of help they can get so the more info you provide the better the tutorial.

Just my thoughts bro. No offense intended.
I understood that fine, it's a decent tutorial for intermediates who know where all the tools are but it's not very ideal for beginners who don't know anything about photoshop.
It's very important post for the designer. The Photo-shop is a good software for the designers and the technique that use is very beneficial for us.

I liked it, but as we (most of us) are not PS Gurus, would you please provide some screenshots while in action
Thanks
This is an excellent tutorial! Good work man!
