Well, to be on topic, cheating against humans is bastardly and underhanded.
Cheating by yourself is fine, but it can make some games un-enjoyable.

Sometimes it is fun to play with cheats if other people use them, but other times its just a huge advantage over other legit players.
Cheating ruins the fun of the original game.
I think cheats stop people from modding and hacking, so on my side, I think it is a good thing.
