Oh yeah same deal over here in Australia. Foxtel (Tivo for you Americans) is something like $90, with movie access, a month. This is just unreasonable for a majority of younger people, who are also WoW's target audience.
Video gaming can be seen as a very childish thing as that's what target audience Microsoft and game suppliers are trying to appeal to.
Video gaming is fun for me. Also, social, I contact alot of my IRL friends VIA steam for tf2/mw3. I don't think it's childish, it's only childish if you act up, spamming in mw3 lobbies because you lost.. Also, I got into modding because of games and coding so it has done alot for me :3.

I live in Australia and I agree, it's exactly like that. Especially now Mr Packer is moving free sports all over on pay-tv as well. It's ludicrous.
I don't think it is. Everybody guy I know plays some sort of video game. I don't think it's childish at all.
I see nothing wrong in playing video games like hell. I myself enjoy it a lot with all new games that come around.

People mostly get changed while playing games when they are in stress and have some hard life prob's and play a particular type of games a lot.

So dont worry if you dont have very less or no stress. Just enjoy playing them.
I personally do not think so. Gaming can calm nerves and be fun and get rid of stress.
I guess that you could call it childish because its a "Game".

I would still play it if it was classified as that.
It's just a fun thing to do, like a hobby. Nothing wrong with it.
Although video games have not really changed me, I have seen it's effect on a lot of people, for some it is good, for others it is just dreadful.
