What program did you make it in? It looks okay but it's a little asymmetrical. Check out the energy sword I sprited in my sig. (yeah, the one with the Yoshis)

I made it in gimp, I cant really imagine it being anti symmetrical though, unless you mean the handle, because for the sword, I made half, copied it, then flipped it.

Your video is what inspired me to make this, working in 400% really helped me

The design looks pretty good, but it looks flat. Nice job though ;)
