That's a pretty ignorant thing to say, no offence.
Though, some (yes more than navy/marines) are indeed as you say, drop outs who can't do anything else... to even consider that that is a great majority is quite foolish.
I live quite close to an army base, and have gotten to know allot of the guy's there. You might just be surprised.

Agreed. For one not everyone in the army is a drop out. Secondly, you never know what prompted a person to drop out even if they did drop out. Some people go through a lot, that you don't know about. Better not to judge anyone for anything. "Don't throw stones if you live in a glass house" sort of thing. And most of them still go to school. If you're going to bash a group, please know exactly what you're talking about so your comments don't come off insensitive.
