Hello all,

Here is my most recent Blender creation, a 1957 Ford Ranchero.

The first image is the Blender render without a background.

The second image is the truck with a scene that I got from the web, and edited.[Image: route66image.png]

Please tell me what you think! Oui

Inventor
The front wheel area looks a little off to me.
Also the headlights stick out a bit too much.
The rims look rushed.
Also I think you need to redo the textures. They look a little unrealistic.
Other than that though it looks pretty decent.
The wheel are off a bit and the rims loook bad.
Just to tell you all, I did it in about one half a hour ;)
Thanks for the tips fragma.
Which textures?
I the second image was done in 8 minutes.
The materials aren't great. They make the car looks quite plastic and toy-like.
Yup, I haven't worked much on them yet ;)
I was moddeling it after a toy truck anyway Big Grin
Would you suggest to lower the mirror and increase the specularity hardness?
I like the second picture, but the first one makes it look too unrealistic.
The specular is what's making it look plastic. Take the specular off and try using a fresnel reflection. Set the brightness to 3% and the strength to 15%.

Will do, thanks for the tip Smile

Thanks BreShiE Smile the first has one light and only the materials.
How long did this take to make? Even though it looks like its something simple I bet it took forever. You should make a nice racing car.
