Full Version: Fix a Wii Remote Thats Tacking Backwards

So I had this problem a while ago...
When you point the wii remote up the cursor goes down, when you point left its moves right.

So heres how to fix it according to Nintendo Customer Support:
Try these in order
  1. Check the batteries.
  2. Disconnect and reconnect the remote.
  3. Turn it upside down, and hit the side of it firmly.
It's worked for me multiple times so give it a shot.
Go to your controller configuration, check of Invert controls, or make sure inverted controlles is off.
Buy a new one.
I'll have to try this out if i get this problem, thanks for the information you might of just saved me some money.

Haha! I can't believe Nintendo really told you to hit your Wiimote =)

That's what I was thinking too.
I'd agree with SF Phantom. This was my friends problem as well.

I really cant believe they told you to hit the remote that's great Roflmao
