I'm sticking to 7, W8 is just W7 with fancy crap. no need for it
I tried the beta version of it and to be honest, I don't like windows 8 that much because they have spoiled the start menu.

I tried it about a month back. Did not like it one bit.

In my opinion, Windows 8 is a great looking operating system but it should be on a tablet instead of a PC.

Not having used Windows 8 I don't have much of a preference as far as excitement goes but I'm still looking forward to the release in 2012. For now though I'll do just fine with my dual-boot Windows 7 and Ubuntu.
