Well I seem to have the same issues. But the issue I have is that nothing really interests me in school besides Photography and history. I find that things work a lot better when the teacher who is teaching makes the subject funner to learn. Sometimes it's not possible to get a teacher who does this though. In this case make it like a game to finish everything as fast as possible. That's what I do.
