Hello.

Many of you might have came to this situation when you must have typed sum URL and there is an error that "404 ERROR - Not Found".

So What is this.

I can Explain you this.

404 is a STATUS CODE
STATUS CODE are the codes which are sent by the browser after we type
any addresses[domain].

The correct STATUS CODE is 200 OK.

Let me explain.

STATUS CODE are in the format of "xxx"[without semicolons]
It ranges from 1xx to 5xx.

I am not pretty sure about 1x but i can tell 2xx to 5xx

The 2xx series signifies a successful completion of the HTTP command given.


The 3xx series signifies an error in the moving web document.


The 4xx series signifies errors caused at browsers.

The 5xx series signifies error at server side.
