This may be a dumb question, but why is it coming up as a Trojan? I know like host booters and stuff comes up as viruses because of the stub, but why does this?

No it's because it's converted from .bat to .exe

I'm pretty sure he wouldn't try to infect us on a support website, so I'd say it's safe to download.

Well, just cause it's a support site, it doesn't mean he wouldn't try to do anything. This being a support site would actually benefit someone trying to do anything because they wouldn't expect it.

Well the moderators and staffs always linger around the forums so if they thought something was harmful to members they would have closed the thread already or blocked the content.
